About

Felix Morgan is a Dublin-based actor, writer, filmmaker and theatre practitioner whose work moves between stage and screen. He holds an M.Phil. in Theatre and Performance from Trinity College Dublin and has trained at the Gaiety School of Acting and at Bow Street Academy. He also holds a B.A. in Film and History and an M.A. in Film from the University of Kent. His multidisciplinary practice encompasses acting, writing, filmmaking and theatre production, with a particular interest in intermediality: the combination of different media to create new forms of artistic expression.

Felix is the founding Chair of the Stage and Screen Society, which he launched at the United Arts Club in 2024 to promote and bring together practitioners working across theatre and film.

As an emerging writer and researcher, Felix specialises in the history of modern Irish theatre. His current creative work explores poetry film as a space for artistic discovery and innovation, with recent collaborations involving award-winning poet James Harpur and the George Æ Russell Society. His recent film, The Countess of the Wheel (directed by Noel Brady, 2026) which he produced and performed in as an actor, draws on his research on George Æ Russell’s contribution to the Irish Theatre movement at the beginning of the 20th century.

Felix Morgan is a stage actor who has trained at both the Samuel Beckett Theatre and the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin. His theatrical practice is grounded in a strong appreciation for classical and contemporary text, character development and live performance.

Across his work, Felix is interested in the relationship between actor, text and audience, and in exploring both established theatrical works and new writing. He continues to develop his practice through performance, collaboration and engagement with contemporary theatre.

Rona Munro’s Scuttlers is a gripping drama set in 19th-century Manchester, exploring youth, loyalty, love, violence and the harsh realities of working-class life. In 2024, Felix Morgan performed the role of Thomas in a scene from the play as part of his acting showcase at the Gaiety School of Acting.

Petruchio

William Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew is a lively comedy exploring love, marriage and the battle of wills between its strong-willed characters. In 2023, Felix Morgan performed the role of Petruchio in a scene from the play as part of his acting showcase at the Gaiety School of Acting.

Requiem


Character B

Requiem is an original piece written by Carlos Darze, a fellow student on the M.Phil. in Theatre and Performance at Trinity College Dublin. Felix Morgan performed the role of Character B as part of his M.Phil. showcase in the Samuel Beckett Theatre, bringing the piece’s exploration of loss, memory and human connection to life.
